Sara sat under a tree, pen in hand, as she tried to work out the best way to take down Wonderland. Though she hated to think of her time there, the memories far from pleasant, she knew that she had to stop them. They couldn’t be allowed to carry on taking people. It wasn’t okay, and it wasn’t fair. Unfortunately, all her ideas were falling short. She found holes in every single plan she came up with. What she needed was numbers, more people to help her. Surely there were people out there that shared her goal.

Giving up on trying to write her ideas down on paper, Sara stood up, brushing the dry dirt from the back on her jeans. It was time to stop thinking and to start doing. She put her pen and paper back in her bag and started walking. Sara had her mission, and it was time to put it into action.

As the Caterpillar, her job is do do research on every Child of the Moon. Extensive research is her specialty so there’s no mistakes. She knows where they’ve been, how powerful they are, their family members, their weaknesses, everything. If there’s anything to know about them, Cassie will find out and report back to duty. She’s shy and rather timid but could really careless about having an affinity or not. Though she was among the first to receive one. Her voice is rather quiet and you’ll never know she’s there unless you upset her. Then you’ll know. When upset, Cassie is loud and just as deadly as Damien himself. She is always burning incense and will always bee seen smoking a hookah in her room if you go to see her.

The one and only Alice, she is kind and sweet but her mind wanders. From her own mind she created Wonderland and all who inhabit it. It wasn’t supposed to be this way. Or so she swears. Her curiosity is the one thing she can never ignore and she is always going off about having a world of her own where she can roam free. You see, once the King of Hearts found our dear, sweet, little Alice he kidnapped her and contained her in her own special little cage. A bird cage that’s located somewhere inside Wonderland Castle. It’s here she can be found weeping into oblivion or drinking herself into madness but only when she’s let out to join the rest of Wonderland for certain events. All she wants to do is settle this mess she’s made and go home. But unfortunately, nothing will ever be the same because of her silly imagination roaming and creating new things.

As one of the Hatters, his job is to pick the five Children of the Moon that would be most suitable to go after. Nothing flashy or amazing like anyone else. But it’s better than Cheshire Cat’s job. He’s most angry about Alexander being the head Hatter. After all, since he’s the oldest, he should be the head Hatter. Or at least that’s how it is in his head. But Xander will always be second in command in the Hatters and that’s just how it is. He was also one of the first in Wonderland to receive an affinity and is very proud of that fact. Although, he will once in a while be a total dick to Alexander and call him on what a shitty job he does as the head. But there’s nothing he can do about it unless he wants to answer to Damien and then it’ll be off with his head!

As the Cheshire Cat, her one and only job in Wonderland is to find and track the Alices that they want. It’s the shittiest job in Wonderland but it’s a job. Her main initiative is to become Damien’s favorite which will never happen. She’s very loathsome and filled with rage. Though she was among the first in Wonderland to receive an affinity. She has one object of desire and that would be Alexander. Chelsea is sneaky and eavesdrops on every conversation she can. She’s vicious and will fight to the death to get what she wants in life. Being born a Child of the Sun really pissed her off and she wants nothing more than to bring the Resistance down. She also has no idea that Alexander barely even knows she exists. But she tries her best to make herself known.

The one and only King of Hearts, he is the one who created Wonderland. Six years ago, it became very apparent to him that there was an abundance of kids who did not have affinities and that was troubling to him. But being born as a Child of the Sun himself, he was a twisted man and as such had very twisted thoughts. Coming up with the roles wasn’t too hard a task anyways. All he had to do was sit back and make sure everything ran smoothly. Although, Damien did form a favorite in the Caterpillar and a special kind of hatred for the Cheshire Cat. He is a cruel man who lost his sanity years ago with a sharp tongue and quick reflexes. His main goal is to, of course, to bring the end of the Children of the Moon and put the Resistance to rest. Damien is also known to have outrageous outbursts when angered.

The one and only Queen of Hearts, about six months ago she was captured and brought to Wonderland Castle. Her affinity was for Fire and it was ripped from her and given to the Cheshire Cat. She is strong and fearless in everything she does. Sara is the poster child for the abductions as they are known in her hometown where all Children of the Moon live. As soon as she learned that they were going to kill her after her affinity was taken from her, she quickly escaped and ran as far from Wonderland as she possibly could. Forming the Resistance, Sara had to be knowledgeable of all the targets that Wonderland was going after. Her voice is the one that whispers the warning. Sara wants nothing more than to see Wonderland fall to their knees and admit defeat. She is kind and caring but also brutal and lethal when the time comes. She alone leads the Resistance to victory.

As the head Hatter, he is expected to be strong willed and very proper. Though he lives up to none of this. His father was the head Hatter up until six months ago when he died and all three of his older brothers stepped down from their positions as Hatters. Leaving him to take his father’s place. Though he is the youngest Hatter now and Alexander is nothing like a Hatter should be. He is timid and scared and wants nothing more than to leave Wonderland forever and just live. Which is why when his job is to watch over the Alice they capture, he helps set two of them free. Alexander is a very kind and loving person which is why he forms a special bond with Moon. But being a part of Wonderland, he must do his job. The other three Hatters do nothing but disrespect him and vow that one day he will see how his job is really done. He isn’t exactly cut out o be a Hatter after all and is perfectly fine with not being born with an affinity.

As an Alice, she is also a Child of the Moon and transforms into an arctic wolf. Knowing what she is since the age of twelve, she also knows about Wonderland but only by a bit. Moon knows nothing of the Resistance and hears her warning when opening a can of Pepsi. When she awoke she was in a cage with a boy by the name of Phoenix. She is brave and very intelligent. Though sometimes her curiosity can get the better of her as all Alices does. Moon is the one who told Phoenix about being a Child of the Moon and takes care of him after they break free and together they search for the Resistance. She has a special bond with the lead Hatter and he seems to be helping them in some way. Though she trusts very little, Moon knows what needs to be done and wants nothing more than to bring Wonderland down.

The Resistance

These are those who have escaped the cruelty of Wonderland and seek to bring them down. Though no one knows about them or even Wonderland until they choose to strike. Knowing who Wonderland wants next, the sent out a whispered poem of a warning, telling the chosen one that they will be free and that the Resistance will help them. Though only the chosen one can hear the warning. They move locations every week so that they will not be found or caught and are led by the first Child of the Moon to ever escape Wonderland. She is known as the Queen of Hearts.

Children of the Moon

These are children who were born with an affinity for one of the five elements. The elements are; Earth, Fire, Water, Air, and Spirit. Though it depends on how strong the element is in each child, they are aware of who they are and the power the possess. This power, however, comes with a price and they must change into a wolf on every full and new moon. Some are still unaware of what they are and what they can do. One child is chosen by the Hatters to be taken away once a week. They are then brought to Wonderland Castle where they are closely monitored in their cage until they are ready for their affinity to be taken from them. The child that the Hatters are considered ‘Alices.’

Wonderland
